This program will test your computer speed when doing floating point
operations.
This program will also let you test the efficiency of a math-coprocessor
or a math-coprocessor software.
It is a small easy to use program that comes in very handy
when one wants to know how much a resident program slows down your
floating point operations, the the speed of your computer.
For example, in average EMM386 slows your floating point speed
by almost half.
DIRECTIONS:
type fpotest.exe at the prompt.
SCALE:
The lower the score the faster your computer deals with floating point operations.
averages to compare your computers performance with:
a 386sx 25mhz = 22
a 386DX 33mhz = 10
486's and computers equipped with math-coprocessors = 4
This program was designed and implemented by Bertrand DAMIBA
